Tsu-Jae King Liu
Associate Dean, Research
The Associate Dean for Research (ADR) oversees the non-senate academic
personnel activities in the College. This includes the appointment of
student and post-doctorate visitors and non-Senate Academics. This
position also supervises the delivery of research support services,
including research administration and associated business services. In
addition, the ADR is responsible for the strategic allocation of
programmatic funds to catalyze research opportunities. |

George Leitmann
Associate Dean, International Relations
George Leitmann aids in the initiation of faculty
and student exchange programs with foreign universities.
Leitmann also advises the Dean concerning the suitability
of proposed exchange programs and evaluates existing exchange
programs, especially concerning decisions to renew or discontinue
them. The Associate Dean for International Relations also
works with the Dean of International and Area Studies in
all appropriate aspects of exchange programs and assists
the Deans of Engineering and of International and Area Studies
in hosting foreign visitors in engineering or related disciplines. |

Dennis Lieu
Associate Dean, Student Affairs
The Associate Dean for Student Affairs is responsible for the
education and welfare of the College's undergraduate students —
including oversight of admissions, advising and cooperative education,
coordination of curricular development, recruiting, accreditation, and
student leadership. He is also responsible for overseeing the Center
for Underrepresented Engineering Students (CUES).
CUES is a nationally recognized as a leader in recruiting and retaining
future engineers in elementary through graduate school. |

Carlo
Séquin
Associate Dean, Capital Projects
Carlo Séquin oversees the various building projects of
the College. Currently, his focus is on the
CITRIS
building, which is in the final planning stage. For this project,
Séquin is the primary representative of all future occupants
of this interdisciplinary research building. |
