Fall 2005 poster
session
Curious about what undergraduate researchers are doing? Thinking of
getting into research yourself? Come by the lobby of Hearst Memorial
Mining Building on Wednesday, November 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for
the Fall 2005 Undergraduate Poster Session. Learn about the research
accomplished by undergraduates, have a snack, and shmooze with faculty.
This year’s theme is “Natural Bridges: Different Perspectives,

Your editor covers all things student engineer: cool or unique research
projects or extracurricular activities, new or unusual courses, and
student group activities, to name a few. We also publish student and

Learn about the digital health field
On Wednesday, November 9, the Management of Technology Program presents
“Health care in the age of IT,” a lecture by Louis Burns,
vice president at Intel. Burns directs the Digital Health business unit
and will explain Intel’s strategy and objectives in this new field,
4-6 p.m. in the Wells Fargo Room at the Haas School of Business. For

“Me and You and Everyone We Know” director comes
to campus
On Wednesday, November 9, the Art, Technology, and
Culture Colloquium of Berkeley’s Center for New Media presents
“Ten True Things,” a lecture by Miranda July. An artist
and filmmaker from Los Angeles, July speaks 7:30-9 p.m. in 160 Kroeber
