Student Honors

This spring, Menzies Chen (B.S.’05 BioE) was awarded one of five UC Berkeley Sustainability Awards. The honor was presented by Chancellor Birgeneau at the second annual UC Berkeley Sustainability Summit on April 28. Chen received the award for his work with Parking and Transportation Services on a real-time bus tracking system for the campus shuttles. The system uses GPS locators to track the actual location of campus shuttle buses and display the results on a website, http://bus.berkeley.edu/.
