A conversation with Bruce Chizen

The College of Engineering’s “View from the Top” Lecture Series continues with “A Conversation with Bruce Chizen, CEO of Adobe Systems Inc.” In a conversation with Dean Richard Newton, Chizen will discuss global economics, how he sees the business and technology landscapes changing and what this means to engineering students. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 1, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Sibley Auditorium. A reception in Garbarini Lounge will follow.

CITRIS Research Exchange

On Wednesday, October 25, the CITRIS Research Exchange will present “Solid-state Thermionic Energy Conversion for Waste Heat Recovery,” a lecture by EE associate professor Ali Shakouri at UC Santa Cruz. Security in the wireless world
On Thursday, October 26, the EECS department presents “Security of Wireless Embedded Systems,” a seminar by Berkeley researcher Tanya Roosta of TRUST, Team for Research in Ubiquitous Secure Technology.
