Faculty Honors

Cheryl and John Neerhout Jr. Distinguished ME professor Masayoshi Tomizuka has been named the 2006 winner of the American Automatic Control Council’s John R. Ragazzini Award. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to automatic control education in any form. Tomizuka’s research interests include adaptive control, computer-aided manufacturing, control systems and theory, digital control, dynamic systems, manufacturing and mechanical vibrations.
