Faculty HonorsIn May, ME professor Arun Majumdar won the 2006 American Society of Mechanical Engineers Heat Transfer Memorial Award, which is bestowed on individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the field of heat transfer. Majumdar currently holds the Almy and Agnes Maynard Chair Professorship in the College and focuses on the area of mechanics and transport in nanostructured materials. He is also director of the Berkeley Nanosciences and Nanoengineering Institute. |
