E 190 placement test

If you plan to take E 190, you must take the Engineering 190 Placement Test before enrolling. The next test is Tuesday, October 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Sibley Auditorium, Bechtel Engineering Center. If you want to enroll in E 190 in spring 2007, you must take the test on October 10; there are no other test dates this semester. You do not need to sign up; just arrive promptly with a pencil or pen and your student ID. More information about E 190 and the placement test can be found at http://coe.berkeley.edu/ids/techcomm.

Distinguished innovator

On Wednesday, October 4, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (CET) will present a lecture by EECS alum In-Sik Rhee, cofounder of Opsware, Inc. The lecture will take place at 6 p.m. in 390 Hearst Memorial Mining Building and is part of the CET’s Distinguished Innovator Lecture Series.
