Student HonorsCEE Ph.D. student Khalid Kadir has been awarded a 2006-2007 Fulbright Fellowship to pursue research at the Wastewater Treatment and Reuse Unit at the Institut Agronomique et Vétérinaire Hassan II in Rabat, Morocco. Kadir will undertake research on pilot-scale waste stabilization ponds and constructed wetlands systems, with a focus on the sunlight-mediated inactivation of pathogens in these systems. Kadir works with CEE assistant professor Kara Nelson.
