Professor Honors In August, ME professor Michael Frenklach was awarded the 2006 Silver
Medal from the Combustion Institute for his paper entitled “Migration
mechanism of aromatic-edge growth.” The award, presented at the
31st Inter-national Symposium on Combustion held in Heidelberg, Germany,
honors an outstanding paper presented at the previous symposium. Frenklach’s
research interests include chemical kinetics, computer modeling and
combustion chemistry, among others. |
