Student HonorsAt the Collegiate Inventors Compet-ition in October, BioE graduate students Craig Hashi (pictured) and YiQian Zhu received the graduate research award for their tissue-engineered vascular graft, taking home a $15,000 prize. The competition recognizes young inventors for the originality of their idea, their process or technology and the potential value and usefulness of their invention to society.
