What are your recommendations for good study music?

Satrajit Chatterjee, EECS Ph.D. student

Rock. I like Pink Floyd and Rush and usually listen to music I’m familiar with so I don’t get distracted.

Emily Kumpel, CEE Ph.D. student

I like pandora.com and prefer music where I don’t understand the words, such as Chinese classical music, so I won’t get distracted.

Chris Clifford, EECS Ph.D. student

Classical music, something with no words so I can focus. I like Baroque because it’s fast and uplifting.

Kosha Mahmodieh, EECS senior

I don’t listen to anything because I need to concentrate.
