ASUC Bookswap January 20 & 21

Get more money for selling your books to other students than by selling them to a bookstore. The third ASUC Bookswap will take place during the first week of classes on January 20 and 21 on Upper Sproul Plaza. Anyone can sell or buy books from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information contact asucbookswap@uclink.berkeley.edu or visit bookswap.berkeley.edu. The Bookswap is the brainchild of engineering physics junior and ASUC senator Misha Leybovich. Many engineering and science texts will be available.

Real World Engineering 2004

Join Berkeley Engineering alums for a glimpse at the practice of engineering beyond the walls of the classroom. Ten separate panels will discuss careers in engineering and how a specific major will translate to a real-world work environment. Then enjoy food, drink, and one-on-one networking with panel participants at the RWE wrap-up reception in the Garbarini Lounge. Thursday, February 12, 2004 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Bechtel Engineering Center.
