Faculty HonorCS, BioE and math professor Dick Karp was awarded the 2004 Benjamin Franklin Medal in Computer and Cognitive Science in recognition of his remarkable contributions to the understanding of computational complexity. The Franklin Institute Awards Program honors scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs who make extraordinary scientific achievements that benefit humanity. Past winners include Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Pierre and Marie Curie, Alexander Graham Bell, and Stephen Hawking. |
