(UNIDO) invite you to Bridging the Divide 2004. Join leading scholars,
practitioners, and policymakers in exploring how technology is accelerating

190 placement test set for 3/30 All students planning on taking E190 are required to take the Engineering 190 placement test before enrolling in the course. The next test is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Sibley Auditorium (in Bechtel). Students planning on taking E190 in the summer or fall of 2004 must take the test on the March 30 date if they have not already taken it. You dont need to sign up for the test; just arrive promptly at 5:00 p.m. with a pencil or pen and your student ID. Enter the Engineering
News senior essay contest Submit an essay on What I learned at Berkeley or What Berkeley has meant to me, in 600 words or less and win two movie tickets and dinner for two at Zacharys Pizza. The contest is open to all graduate and undergraduate students in the College of Engineering. E-mail your essay to editnews@coe.berkeley.edu by Friday, April 16. The deadline is firm.
