Brainteaser Answer

In his will a grandfather left each of his grandsons as many dollars as he had grandsons, and each of his granddaughters as many dollars as he had granddaughters. He did likewise with his four great-grandchildren and willed $441 for all. How many grandsons, granddaughters, and great-grandchildren did he have?

Answer: The grandfather gave his 16 grandsons $256, his 13 granddaughters $169, and his 4 great-grandchildren $16.
