Art of the Net
On Monday, Feb. 28, Rachel Greene of Rhizome will present a lecture entitled, “The History of Net Art from 1995 to the Google IPO.” The lecture is free and open to the public and starts at 7:30 p.m. in 160 Kroeber Hall. Greene’s talk is one in a series put on by the Art, Technology, and Culture Colloquium of UC Berkeley’s Center for New Media. Apply now to the Berkeley Summer Bioengineering Research Program!
This program, funded by the Guidant Foundation, allows undergraduates to do full-time bioengineering research with a faculty mentor for 10 weeks over the summer. To apply, visit http://bioeng.berkeley.edu/guidant and review the available research projects. Applications are submitted online, and a resume, cover letter and unofficial transcript are required. You do not need to be a bioengineering major to apply, but you must have appropriate academic training to participate in bioengineering research. Application deadline is March 18.
