Faculty Honors

CEE Professor Jack P. Moehle was chosen to give the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI)'s 2005 Distinguished Lecture at its February annual meeting in Ixtapa, Mexico. His topic was "Performance-Based Design: Developments and Applications." Moehle, director of the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research (PEER) Center, was nominated by EERI's honors committee in recognition of his many years of outstanding leadership in the field of research on seismic evaluation and rehabilitation of structures.
