Fellowships for space study
NASA Space Grant Summer Fellowships are available to support outstanding UC undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in entering related fields. The deadline to apply is April 22. For more information and to apply go to http://ssl.berkeley.edu/fellowships.html.

Request for award nominations
The ME department is accepting nominations for the Serge Granik Memorial Award. The merit-based award is given annually to an engineering and/or computer science graduating senior who has overcome unusual difficulties or adversity to successfully complete the required course of study. Nominations can be made by any faculty member, and students can nominate themselves. This year's award is $500. The deadline for nominations is April 30. Student arts festival
The STAMP'D (Students in Theatre, Art, Music, Poetry and Dance) festival runs through April 26. The festival is a series of four events featuring student performances, such as a battle of the bands and fashion show. For more info, look at festival posters.
