What’s your reaction to graduating? What will you remember most about Berkeley?
Mina Chang, IEOR
Hometown: San Jose
Plans: Grad school at Columbia
I'm sad. I'm going to miss everything about here. The
people, the campus, Etcheverry Hall. We lived in Etcheverry Hall!

Elisa Fanchiang, BioE
Hometown: San Mateo
Plans: Go to medical school
Berkeley is hard and you can't procrastinate. Your friends help
a lot. The highlight for me has been hanging out with all my nerdy friends.

Zach Morrison, BioE
Hometown: Burnsville, Minn.
Plans: Get a job in biotech
I'm feeling a little bit of everything: apprehension, excitement,
a sense of accomplishment. It's very rewarding to know that four
years of hard work has paid off.

Catherine Ferguson, ME
Hometown: Clovis
Plans: CE job
I've had some great times with my professors, especially Professor
Savas. I've learned to always pay attention and give my best effort.
Anthony Reiher, NE
Hometown: Sacramento
Plans: Undecided
Everything's been good and bad. I've liked going to classes
and learning, but I didn't like doing the homework. The professors
are great, though. You're constantly challenged.
Matt Ware, EECS
Hometown: Los Altos
Plans: Undecided
It feels good to be done, but it also sucks, because I'll have
to start over in the real world and get a job. I'll miss hanging
out with friends at my fraternity.
Calvin Kuo, EECS
Hometown: Torrance
Plans: Undecided
I'm feeling uncertainty. For so many years, there was always the
next year of school. I'll miss playing football every Thursday
with the professors I did research with.
Szu-Han Wang, BioE
Hometown: Saratoga
Plans: Have a job at Genentech
I feel very nervous, very excited. One of my best memories here is staying
up late working on group projects, getting delirious.
Supin Chen, BioE
Hometown: Palos Verdes
Plans: Apply to grad school
I'm really ready to leave. This semester has lasted a long time.
I'll miss the good food you find here!
Chris Ward, ME
Hometown: Monterey
Plans: Grad school at MIT
I'll miss Berkeley. I liked doing all the projects. Last fall,
we built this robot to solve a Rubik's Cube and that was fun.
Hayley Li, ME
Hometown: Bartlesville, Okla.
Plans: Grad school at MIT
I can't believe four years have already passed. I've learned
a lot here and had a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to the changes
in the future.
Shail Gala, BioE
Hometown: Milpitas
Plans: Look for a job
Unlike a year ago, I don't want to graduate anymore. I hear life
after school isn't too good. The best part about Berkeley is the
social environment. You'll never meet so many different types
of people anywhere else.
