Faculty Honors

In January, Dean Richard Newton was chosen as chair of a new panel of scholars sponsored by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. The Kauffman Panel on Entrepreneurship Curriculum in Higher Education will provide recommendations for a comprehensive approach to teaching entrepreneurship to college students. “Whatever profession or calling a student chooses,” Newton says, “the impulse, and often the need, to innovate and lead requires a body of very specialized business knowledge, experience and understanding that this curriculum framework will seek to establish.” (Nick Lammers photo)
