E 190 placement test
All students planning on taking E 190 are required to take the Engineering 190 Placement Test before enrolling in the course. The next test is scheduled for Thursday, March 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Sibley Auditorium. Students planning on taking E 190 in the summer or fall of this year must take the test on March 23 if they have not already taken it. You do not need to sign up; just arrive promptly at 5:30 p.m. with a pencil or pen and your student ID.

Friday Research Exchange
On Friday, March 24, CITRIS will host “Enabling Wireless Entertainment Networks,” a lecture by John Simons of Hitachi, as part of the Friday Research Exchange, a weekly seminar series that explores ways to frame and tackle societal-scale research issues. Innovation and investment lecture
On Wednesday, March 22, the Management of Technology Spring Lecture Series presents “Innovation and Investment” by Bill Elmore, general partner of Foundation Capital. Foundation Capital has a long history of picking winning technology investments, many of them originating at UC Berkeley. Elmore will explore the innovation-investment connection.
