Student Honors

In September, ME Ph.D. student Robert Seah received the 2006 Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineering Graduate Paper Honor Prize, the organization’s top student paper award. Seah’s paper was entitled “Resonant Modes of Rect-angular Twin Hulls” and discussed the Helmholtz phenomenon between two floating bodies. Seah works in ME professor R.W. Yeung’s Computational Marine Mechanics Laboratory.
