Student Honors

ME senior Yaniv Scherson has been awarded a Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship for the 2006–2007 academic year. Goldwater scholars are chosen on the basis of their academic merit following a faculty nomination. Last year 1,081 students were nominated, and 323 scholarships were given. The scholarships cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, and room and board up to a maximum of $7,500 per year.
