IBM programming contest
Enter the IBM Cell/B.E. University Challenge and win up to $10,000!
While the Cell Broadband Engine is already recognized as a workhorse
of the gaming industry, this challenge is looking for creative
uses of the Cell/B.E. processor in other areas. Winners will be
chosen by a panel with a first-place prize of $10,000. For additional

BEARS 2007
The Berkeley Annual EECS Research Symposium (BEARS) 2007 will take
place on Thursday, February 15. In the morning, several faculty
members will present highlights from their research. In the afternoon,
research centers will welcome visitors for various open houses.
