Do you want to follow in your parents’ footsteps?

Navtej Sadhal,
EECS sophomore

I do want to follow vaguely in the sense that I want to do well for myself. My dad’s a professor and that’s not what I want to be, but I do want to be successful like him.

Anjuli Appapillai,
ME/MSE senior

I would like to take a bit from each parent. My dad is a physicist and my mom is an artist. I would like to take the creativity of art and apply it to science.

Trent Russi,
ME senior

Yes. My dad is a lumber yard owner and carpenter and I am also interested in the design aspect of building. I like the creative thinking behind what my dad does and I want to take it to the next level.

Fred Ho,
BioE senior

No, because I am my own person. I want to do my own thing without following a precedent set by someone else.
