Pizza with Professors, Second time
SES is hosting a second pizza with professors this semester for all those who mised out on the first one.
Professor Attwood and Professor Wurtele will be handing them out this Tuesday, October 27th from 6-7pm in 212 Cory. Pizza and drinks will be
provided.
Unless you have something you must attend, such as a midterm, DO NOT MISS THIS MEETING! The professors are holding this extra advising meeting this year, because they do not have the time to individually meet with all the students who still need their codes.

SES Poker Tournament
SES is having its second poker night of the year on Thursday, October 29th in Bechtel 120AB at 7:30PM! It will be Texas Hold'em with a $5 buy in and first two places will receive cool prizes. Bring your friends and come early! Bechtel 120AB is in the engineering building next to the Bechtel Engineering Library, just north of Evans.
In order to prepare for the holdem poker tournaments, we advise you to visit Pokerlistings.com. They have amongst other things a good list of the best free poker tournaments online.

All you Engineering Science students, come out and meet the officers and find out what Society of Engineering Sciences is all about and what we do. Society of Engineering Sciences in conjunction with Epsilon Pi is hosting the first Informational Session of the semester at 6PM in Bechtel 120AB. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will introduce SES in general and familiarize prospective members with this society's campus involvement. Bring your friends and get to know current members. Join us for another semester of fun.

SES and ASME is again co-hosting a BBQ in front of the Campanile by LeConte Hall at 11:30AM. Everyone is welcome to attend; grab a fresh made burger in between classes and get to know fellow engineers. Officers Meetings
If you are interested in SES officer positions, or just getting more involved, we invite you to please attend our Officers Meeting tomorrow night at 6pm in 101 Bechtel (right across from the Engineering Library). It'll be an informal meeting where we'll be discussing our future events, and afterwards, we'll be hanging out and eating snacks till about 7pm.

New arrangement for Pictures
The Pictures tab has been modified for your convenience. Instead of being directed to another website in another window, now you may view thumbnail versions of the actual picture. To access the actual pictures themselves in full-size, click on the pictures and it will lead you to another page with just the picture. Rather than the old, year by year organization through various links, it is now organized by specific events in chronological order with the newest pictures first. Hopefully we'll be able to organize all future photos in similar fashion. Depending on how many photos we upload, we may have to put old photos in the Archives Section that has yet to be made.

Pizza with Professors
SES and Epsilon Pi will be hosting Pizza with Professors on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. It will be held in Bechtel Engineering Center, Room 120AB, at 6:00 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for students to meet professors in an informal setting. Professors are a valuable resource and they can provide you with helpful information concerning which courses you may want to take and which professors to take them with. Don't miss this opportunity! Oh yeah, and there's pizza!
