New arrangement for Pictures

The Pictures tab has been modified for your convenience. Instead of being directed to another website in another window, now you may view thumbnail versions of the actual picture. To access the actual pictures themselves in full-size, click on the pictures and it will lead you to another page with just the picture. Rather than the old, year by year organization through various links, it is now organized by specific events in chronological order with the newest pictures first. Hopefully we'll be able to organize all future photos in similar fashion. Depending on how many photos we upload, we may have to put old photos in the Archives Section that has yet to be made.

====================================
The flyer is saved in the folder: images/Poker Night/POKER NIGHT FLYER.doc
====================================

  1. The prize was a 300 piece poker set bought at Berkeley Games for $38. If bought online however, we could've purchased a 500 piece set for roughly the same price. The reason that we did not do so was that our account did not allow online purchasing, and shipping fees would've cost about $13.
  2. We anticipated a minimum of 14 people and a maximum of 19 people; 11 total players actually participated, final table of 4.
  3. We provided a bag of tostito's chips and a 2 litre bottle of coke. A bottle of chip sausa was never opened.
  4. We spent $38 on the prize, $3 on the poster, roughtly $3 on food: Total $ Cost: $44
  5. We spent approximately 2 officer's meetings discussing this event, about 3 man-hours handing out flyers. (note: boards that indicates "student postings" are the only ones we may post on) (also note, 2610 Channing, office building, we may submit a hard-copy of flyers to be approved, and if approved, the office will make copies for us and post the flyers around the dorms for us)
  6. The RSVP form did not generate any responses, perhaps more incentive to rsvp?
  7. We generated a total of $50.
  8. We were going to give the top two players of each table their money back, but due to lack of participants that prize was not given out to maintain breaking-even.
  9. Total Expenditure: $44
    Total Income: $50
    Net Profit: $6
    Things to do next time:
  1. Get flyers at least 3 weeks in advance
  2. Make prize a gift card to Chipotle or some other place
  3. Get a stapler for flyers
  4. Make sure to have Pat forward several emails to all ES people informing them of this Poker Night
  5. Use facebook Berkeley network to send a flyer
