 Engineering Student Services supports all Berkeley Engineering students through a variety of activities, including advising and tutoring, diversity and inclusion programs, student life experiences and leadership development. Check here regularly for news breaks of interest to students.
Current Updates:
- ESS expands office hours, adds mental health services
Students have spoken and Engineering Student Services has responded. The ESS office in 230 Bechtel Engineering Center is now open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including the lunch hour, Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. Also, in addition to drop-in career advising at ESS already provided by the Career Center, ESS will expand in March to include a Tang Center satellite office, where counseling staff from the Tang Center will provide mental health services. Call the Tang Center at (510) 642-9494 for appointments and details.
- New ESS Peer Advising Program launches
Sometimes it's helpful to have an experienced student's perspective on how to juggle classes, how to study, how to manage time, or how to navigate the waters of a large university like Cal. Our Peer Advisers are here to help. Read more.
