Engineering Student Organizations & Competition Teams
Get Involved!
Each of the groups listed below offers opportunities to apply material learned in the classroom while building character and gaining experience. National research has shown that students who are involved in extracurricular activities have higher GPAs, are more satisfied with college, learn valuable leadership and interpersonal skills, and better organize their time. These organizations and teams also allow students to hone marketable skills sought by employers, including teamwork, creativity and project management. Berkeley Engineering, after all, is much more than just buildings, equipment, textbooks and classrooms.
An asterisk (*) denotes organizations registered with the Engineering Student Council (ESC). All other organizations are registered with the The LEAD Center, which maintains a complete list of UC Berkeley student organizations and provides information about starting your own student organization.
Engineering Student Organization officers may access the 2013-2014 COE Student Organization Budget Request form (due 5pm, Friday, May 17, 2013) here.
