Come and see for yourself how inspiring and exciting Berkeley is! We encourage you to visit campus and learn first-hand what Berkeley has to offer.

Free campus tours are held daily, seven days a week. Ninety-minute walking tours are led by trained student guides who are knowledgeable about the Berkeley campus and student life at Cal. Reservations are required. To learn more, visit UC Berkeley Visitor Services. Can’t schedule a visit just yet? Check out the UC Berkeley online tour for a virtual look around campus.

Engineering tours are offered for prospective and admitted undergraduates and their families during the month of April (once admissions decisions are made). Led by campus ambassadors who are engineering majors, the tour covers College of Engineering buildings and includes information on teaching and research, as well as student projects, services and groups. The tour provides some general information about the campus, but focuses on engineering at Berkeley. Space is limited and reservations are required. For more information visit:

If you are not able to get a tour through visitor services you can take a Self-Guided Tour through the College of Engineering.  Download the tour here.

The College of Engineering is located on the north side of campus, adjacent to Hearst Avenue. Detailed driving directions, as well as information on public transportation and parking, can be found at the UC Berkeley Visitor Services website.
